A 37-year-old AEW star, who has been absent for over two months, addressed rumours regarding his health on social media. Former ROH Rush has been one of the best hitters in the industry. Unfortunately, he isn’t booked regularly on TV.
The 37-year-old star hasn’t been seen in the Jacksonville-based promotion for over two months. The last time he was on TV was in July, when he defeated Jordan Cruz in a squash match. He hasn’t been seen since in Tony Khan’s company. In June, he unsuccessfully challenged for the AEW World Championship and world trios championships. Many believe that the reason for his absence might be injury. However, that isn’t the case.
Recently, a fan on X claimed that Rush might have been injured again and therefore has taken time off TV. The 37-year-old star revealed that he has been hurt only once during the Continental Classic tournament. Other than that, he has been fit and trying many things to become the best.
“During my time with AEW I have only been injured ONCE, and one time during Continental Classic I tweaked my knee and medical team advised I recover. I do my best to be part of every event, but any news you hear about injury prone is false. I even popped my elbow back in during a match to continue to perform. I train in Mexico at the gym and in ring, I study English daily, and study tapes, I do everything possible to be at my best and READY for any opportunity. Do not believe false narratives, EL TORO BLANCO is healthy and ready always, Monday to Monday. And REMEMBER…if you mess with the bull……,” he said.
AEW star Rush also missed All In 2026
The former ROH World Champion missed the biggest show of the year last month.
Ahead of the blockbuster show, Rush issued a statement on X, where he claimed he would have loved to represent Mexico at Wembley Stadium.
“Tomorrow marks another edition of AEW All In. I won’t be stepping into the ring this time, but I want to wish great success to all my colleagues participating in this major event. Since arriving in AEW in 2022, I haven’t yet had the chance to wrestle at All In. Of course, I would have loved to represent Mexico and my people on that stage, but I embrace every phase of my career with maturity, gratitude, and my eyes set on what lies ahead,” he said.
It will be interesting to see when the Bull will be on TV next.
