Oceania Fortnite pro and content creator Oatley has finally revealed his face after years of teasing fans with fake reveals, just weeks before he competes in person at the Esports World Cup in Paris.
Throughout July he stirred hype with a video and stream countdown titled “Oatley Face Reveal,” but it turned out to be another fake, with what seemed like no genuine reveal in sight.
The 20-year-old, known for keeping a strictly faceless online presence, posted the reveal to X and YouTube on August 8, 2026.
The real one finally arrived with a YouTube video titled “The Real Oatley Face Reveal,” alongside a direct photo posted to his X account.
A reveal made inevitable by EWC
The timing lines up closely with Oatley’s qualification for the Esports World Cup, an in-person LAN event that would have exposed his identity on the global broadcast regardless of when he chose to reveal it.
Oatley and his duo partner Spookz secured first place in the Fortnite Reload Elite Series Grand Finals in May 2026, officially qualifying them for EWC.
Oatley will compete live in the Fortnite Reload Elite Series Championship at EWC, running from August 19 to August 22, 2026.
Fans reacted quickly to the news. “Let’s gooo Oatley man, I thought it was gonna prank me again dude hella hype for you,” one wrote. Another added: “I have no clue why you were so hesitant to show your face. You look great, man.”
Not everyone was convinced, however. Some pointed out that Oatley has yet to speak on camera since the reveal. “Not buying it until I see him actually talking at LAN, voice does not match his face at all,” one sceptical fan wrote. “He still hasn’t talked once with his face revealed. Could be anyone.”
We are covering the tournament as it unfolds, including how to watch EWC 2026’s Rainbow Six Siege competition as the event’s fourth week gets underway.
