GIANTX has added Clément “CyvOph” Millar and Mikhail “globeX” Kostylev as stand-ins for its VALORANT team at Monsters Reloaded. The two-player move follows the departures of Jesse and neT, and gives GIANTX a confirmed lineup for the October 24 LAN in Istanbul. The organization announced the arrivals on October 4, 2026.
That is a quick turnaround: GIANTX announced Jesse and neT’s exits on October 2, leaving the club to fill both spots ahead of its next event. The departures also come after a difficult VCT 2026: EMEA Stage 2 run, where the team finished 13th–16th and bowed out in the Play-In stage.
Neither outgoing player had been with the lineup for long. Jesse first appeared for GIANTX as a stand-in in July before becoming a full member on July 25, while neT joined on July 10. The roster has already seen movement across the scene this year, with player departures and availability reshaping VALORANT lineups beyond GIANTX, too.
For now, the new additions are explicitly listed as stand-ins, not confirmed permanent replacements. That distinction matters: a pair of arrivals can change a team’s short-term options without answering what its longer-term roster will look like. The immediate job is simpler, if not necessarily easy: build enough chemistry to compete on LAN after a late double change.
CyvOph brings top-level experience; globeX brings a title
CyvOph’s last team was NAVI, which he joined in June. Before that, the French player represented Fnatic and Team Vitality, giving GIANTX a stand-in with experience across several established organizations. That history offers useful context, but it does not guarantee an instant fix for a team coming off a Play-In exit.
globeX most recently played for Barça eSports, with whom he won VALORANT Challengers 2026 Spain: Rising Stage 2. The result gives the newcomer a recent title to bring into the mix, although the available announcement does not specify either player’s role or how GIANTX plans to divide responsibilities.
The lineup listed by the club’s announcement consists of Miloš “westside” Duda, Eduard-George “ara” Hančeriuk, Karel “Flickless” Mekkelberg, CyvOph and globeX, with the two new arrivals marked as stand-ins. For fans trying to read the next GIANTX setup, the open question is not just who joins the roster, but how these five fit together in a competitive match.
Istanbul is the first checkpoint
GIANTX received a direct invitation to the Monsters Reloaded LAN finals, scheduled for October 24 in Istanbul, Turkey. The event carries a $35,000 prize pool, putting a meaningful competitive test immediately in front of the reshuffled lineup.
CyvOph and globeX are confirmed for Monsters Reloaded as stand-ins; the announcement does not say whether either will remain with GIANTX afterward. Until the event begins, the safest read is also the clearest one: two players are in, two have left, and the Istanbul LAN is the first chance to see whether the replacement pieces click.
