One thing Disney Lorcana goes big on with every new set is promo cards. These limited-time cards are often linked to in-store events or even attending a Disney park somewhere around the world. This can add to their value if you happen to get your hands on them, but they’re also just great collector’s pieces if you’re looking to complete a true master set of cards for a specific set.
For Attack of the Vine, there are at least 14 new promo cards that we’re aware of so far, with the potential for more to pop up throughout the set’s launch window. So, if you want to know which promo cards you need to find, we’ve got the full breakdown in one handy place.
There are six unique prerelease box promos to collect for Attack of the Vine. You only get one in each prerelease box, and it’s entirely random, so collecting all six is best done via buying singles. Provided you’re okay waiting a few weeks after launch, you can sometimes buy promo cards for under $10.
The six promo cards for Attack of the Vine are:
- Buzz Lightyear, Providing Cover
- Merlin, Envisioning the Future
- Boo, Energetic Child
- Maximus, Relentless Stallion
- Vixey, Expert Fisher
- Pocahontas, Guiding the Tribe
There is a chance that certain cards hold value or even grow over time, but it’s entirely dependent on whether the card sees heavy play after the launch of the set. Right now, the Wilds Unknown prerelease promo cards range anywhere from $6 to $35 in terms of value, with Ariel, Curious Traveler being the most expensive of the lot.

Disney Lorcana: Biggest Chase Cards In Attack Of The Vine
From set enchanteds to fan-favorite chases, these are some of the cards everyone will be after in the new Disney Lorcana set, Attack of the Vine.
Next is the Magical Places promo, a card obtainable only by attending a prerelease at select Disney locations. This typically refers to Disney parks, and these cards are often handed out to those in the queue to collect their prerelease boxes at a Disney park.
All promo cards are just variants of actual cards from Attack of the Vine, and therefore are legal to play with.
The Magical Places promo for Attack of the Vine is Maleficent, Exultant Spellcaster. Maleficent is a one-ink card that enters play with two strength and two willpower and can quest for one lore point. Sadly, that’s all there is to Maleficent, as she has no further abilities.
A fairly easy promo to get a hold of each season is the Seasonal Promo. For Attack of the Vine, it’s Sulley, The New Boss.
To obtain this card, you only need to attend an event at an official Ravensburger Play store.
Sulley is a five-ink card that enters play with four strength and four willpower. It also has the Bodyguard ability, meaning it may enter play exerted, and an opposing character who challenges one of your characters must choose one with Bodyguard if possible. He also has Rehire, an ability that lets you return a character card from your discard to your hand when the character is played.
There are four organized play (OP) promo cards to find during Attack of the Vine. The first is the buy-a-box promo, Tigger, Hunny Barbarian, which can be earned for buying an entire booster box. Tigger is a pretty stacked card, costing four ink to put in play, and he enters with five strength and four willpower. He also has Reckless, meaning he cannot quest and must challenge each turn if possible. Finally, Tigger has Protective Charge, meaning once during your turn, whenever he challenges another character, you may ready any Hunny character, although, as is standard, it cannot quest for the rest of the turn.
Readying a character from an exerted state allows you to challenge with it again.
The three remaining OP promo cards are the Weekly Play promos, again earned by attending play events at official Ravensburger Play stores while the card is live. The Weekly Play promos are:
- Morph, Little Imitator
- Randall Boggs, Scary Smart
- Meilin Lee, Lead Vocalist
The Set Championship promo cards return, and the base card can be earned just for attending and participating in the Attack of the Vine Set Championship. If you qualify for the top eight at an event, you earn the foil version of the card.
A Mike and Sulley playmat can also be earned through the Set Championships.
Rapunzel, Escaping the Tower is the Set Championship promo for Attack of the Vine. This card costs just one ink to cast and enters play with two strength and one willpower. Each turn, you may discard a card to add an additional lore point to Rapunzel and give her Evasive until the end of the turn. This ability prevents her from being challenged by characters without the Evasive ability.
