Day three of Stake Ranked Episode 3 came to an end with K27 eliminating 3DMAX from competition in Spain.
Earlier in the day, Bryan “Maka” Canda and company eliminated Gentle Mates, while K27 made light work of Phantom. That meant the two teams contested the lower-bracket final, where Aleksey “xeedo” Mikulich put K27 on his back and led the way with a 2.00 rating in a one-sided series.
In the upper bracket, it was HEROIC who got the better of Ninjas in Pyjamas to qualify for the grand final. Christoffer “Chr1zN” Storgaard’s troops secured a close 13-11 victory on their Inferno pick despite Roman “n0te” Hamze’s best efforts (1.26 rating), with Martin “stavn” Lund and the young Belgian then leading the way in a 13-9 victory on Nuke.
That meant that the match needed to be decided on Mirage, where HEROIC’s strong CT side proved enough for a victory and a grand final spot.
