A fan-designed Lego set depicting Hallownest from Hollow Knight previously received enough support to be taken under review by Lego. That doesn’t mean we’re definitely getting official Hollow Knight Lego, but an update provided this week has kept the hope of that eventually happening alive.

Lego Puts Its Hollow Knight Lego Set In The Parking Lot

The Hollow Knight: A Journey to Hallownest set was designed by PingouinRainbowDash, and it reached 10,000 supporters in November 2025. Once a set submitted through Lego Ideas reaches that threshold, it enters a review period during which Lego determines whether the set is truly good enough to become an official, mass-produced product.

A PS2 Set Has Received Enough Support To Be Reviewed And Considered By Lego

A concept for the set hit 10,000 supporters just in time for it to be considered during Lego’s upcoming review period.

It’s not just quality that needs to be considered, but also practicality and, as will be the case for this Hollow Knight set, licensing. Lego can’t just go ahead and make a Hollow Knight set. It needs Team Cherry’s permission. That’s one of the potential reasons why, after seven months sitting in Lego’s review box, A Journey to Hallownest has been moved to the Parking Lot.

That isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The Lego Ideas Parking Lot is where sets that are under review are placed if Lego needs more time to decide whether to make a fan-designed set a reality. The Hollow Knight set might have been moved there because Lego still isn’t sure it’s worth immortalizing the series in toy bricks, or it might be in negotiations with Team Cherry to see if the two sides can agree on terms to make an official Lego set happen.

A Closer Look At What Might Become Hollow Knight’s First Lego Set

As for what we might get should Lego eventually move forward with full production, the Ideas submission depicts a simplified version of Hallownest. Not only are Greenpath, Dirtmouth, Forgotten Crossroad, and Crystal Peak all represented, but it’s a modular set where those sections can be separated and reconnected, presumably in any configuration you like.

A modular design would also leave the door open for more sections of the map to be added in the future.

The set also includes Lego builds of The Knight and Silksong’s Hornet, and it’s 2,099 pieces. If the Hallownest build does make it out of the Parking Lot, it will likely look a lot different than the set pictured above. Lego Ideas submissions that make it to production are used as a framework or a base for the real thing. It will be Hollow Knight-themed, and it will be based on Hallownest, but don’t go pinning your hopes on it being a replica should it make the cut.

One of the other more popular, and even more ambitious, Hollow Knight sets currently clocking up numbers on Lego Ideas is a Pharloom build based on the map in Silksong. It currently has 6,387 supporters and has almost two more years to get to 10,000 and be officially considered for review, so it’s almost certainly going to make it onto Lego’s radar eventually.
