A World Cup fan has gone viral for collecting beers from all 48 countries competing in the tournament, and the list includes some unexpected inclusions.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is the biggest international soccer tournament to date, with more teams than ever taking part in the spectacle hosted by North America’s USA, Mexico, and Canada.
Many of the countries participating are known for their beer, and so, X user ‘Gus’ who has collected beers from World Cup teams before, gathered 48 different beers from across the globe.
The result? A beer-lover’s dream. Or as some may call it, a nice Saturday afternoon.

While some countries like Germany are known for their beer, Gus had to think a bit outside of the box when it came to the likes of dry nations such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
“Qatar is Fizzin Pineapple and Saudi Arabia’s is Moussy Lemon Mint which are both flavoured non-alcoholic malt beverages,” he explained.
Other fan favorites include the likes of Pabst Blue Ribbon for the United States, Modelo for Mexico, and France’s Kronenbourg.
Another fun addition is Egypt’s Stella, which despite the name, has no relation at all to Stella Artois.
Gus says he plans on drinking the beers “once the country has been knocked out of the tournament,” adding that he just doesn’t have the space to go fixture by fixture.
The post has gone ultra viral, amassing over 11 million views on X, and inspiring others to grab a pinty and share their own favorite beers.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is just days away now and in addition to beer, there are loads of foods for the event, including a McDonald’s meal and a Chipotle BOGO.
