Max Holloway has a message for fans and for Conor McGregor with UFC 329 Fight Week finally here.

The Hawaiian is aware of how “The Notorious,” who is the best trash talker in the game, loves to break down his opponents mentally before or during fight week. However, Holloway is not game to back down and is ready to fire back if things get heated up next week during the post-fight presser and face-offs.

The Irishman is returning to the octagon after five years and will be running it back with Holloway on July 11 in the main event of UFC 329. In most recent interviews, McGregor has reiterated time and again that Holloway failed to lay a glove on him in their first meeting back in 2013, and he expects history to repeat itself. The Dubliner has opined that ‘these men are not on his level,’ and once the octagon door closes on July 11, he aims to remind the world by once again sonning “Blessed.”

While “The Notorious” was away from the octagon, Holloway evolved tremendously. Conor McGregor respects the Hawaiian and vice versa but insists he doesn’t see much improvement. Recently, the 37-year-old claimed that Holloway adopted some of the techniques he showcased during their first bout, learned from the mistakes, and went on to become one of the greatest featherweights of all time.

Conor McGregor says he is “levels above” Max Holloway and doesn’t think the he’s improved much since they first fought 👀

“I sonned Max when I fought him last, and I plan on doing the same again in more devastating fashion.”

Max Holloway confident trash talking Conor McGregor won’t make him forget UFC 329 game plan

During a recent interview with ESPN MMA’s Brett Okamoto, Max Holloway said that even if things get heated up before the UFC 329 rematch, fans do not need to worry about his mindset, as he does not let emotions get in the way when he enters the octagon, as at the end of the day, he will have a free pass to smash “The Notorious” on July 11. The former BMF champ said:

“You can talk how you talk. I’m from Waianae, Hawaii. We talk shit to each other all the time. I’m gonna give you guys a heads-up right now. If I’m talking shit back to Conor McGregor, he’s not knocking me out of my game plan. This is something that I like to do.”

“He can talk all he wants. I get to assault this guy at the end of the week. I get to put my hands on you and not worry about the consequences… So all this talk and screaming and whatever, it’s all fun, but at the end of the day, I get to hit you.”
