We caught up with Rodrigo “biguzera” Bittencourt for a post-game chat:
On the win over FlyQuest, and breaking their Anubis streak: “They are a very difficult team to play against on Anubis, so yeah, we’re happy that this side was doing well.”
On coming in cold yesterday: “It’s hard to say because we never know if it was because we were kind of cold or just we played bad. We want to win those matches, but at the same time, we know we have good opponents on the other side, and we have to respect them also. And yeah, it was a tough match. I think we didn’t play well, and we got punished by them.”
On picking saffee over nqz: “”It was [going to be] saffee for a long time. We chose him to be the AWPer here, and yeah, it’s him because I think we’ll be better with him. I think he’s the kind of person that you want inside the team, you know? He plays for the team. He’s more proactive, you know? He speaks more during the game. So yeah, I think that’s why.”
On the rest of the stage: “We really want to go through, but at the same time, we know that here we have a lot of good teams also. But I know how capable we are, and I’m pretty sure that we can go through. So expectations is so high, always. I never thought before, like, go home or go to vacation. I just want to go through and win and more matches as possible.”
