Pepsi has released a special “Night” edition designed to keep you up late.

There have been countless special soft drinks over the years with Coke and Pepsi seemingly trying to one-up each other with new flavors and gimmicks.

Both have delved into the world of collabs, with Coke teaming up with brands like Oreo while Pepsi and KFC tried their luck with a pickle Pepsi.

Now, the blue company has tried something a bit different in the form of Pepsi Night, a special version that’s currently rolling out in the Middle East.

Pepsi Night is designed to keep you awake

On social media, Pepsi’s Saudi Arabia and other Middle East accounts started posting about Pepsi Night, advertising it as being loaded with “extra caffeine.”

“Every match deserves extra hype,” they said with a soccer ball emoji. “Pepsi Night Edition – Extra Caffeine. For the fans who never switch off.”

“Tonight is for ball and that’s all,” they said in another post featuring the Pepsi logo in the night sky, similar to Batman’s Bat Symbol. “When the signal hits, football night begins.”

The ads appear to be referencing the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup. With the event happening in North America, fans in the Middle East will need to stay up late or wake up early to catch the matches.

As far as the caffeine content, a regular Pepsi typically contains 10.7mg of caffeine per 100ml, but this special Night edition amps that up to 13.9mg.

There’s no word yet on whether or not this version will be making its way to North America and Europe, but if it proves to be successful overseas, there’s always a chance we can try it for ourselves in the near future.
