Attorneys representing the victim in the criminal case involving Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs have asked the court to seal records in the case.

Konicek & Dillon P.C. and Raff Law, LLC filed the motion on Sept. 15, on behalf of their client, identified in court documents as ANM.

The attorneys are asking the court to keep sensitive materials in the case private.

A media release said the request was made to protect the victim’s privacy.

It also noted that Jacobs has already taken legal responsibility for his actions in the case.

ESPN senior NFL reporter Jeremy Fowler also shared news of the filing on X on Tuesday.

The case is being handled in Brown County Circuit Court in Wisconsin.

The case dates back to May 23, when police responded to an 8:37 a.m. disturbance complaint at a residence involving Jacobs and his then-girlfriend.

Jacobs was arrested and booked into Brown County Jail in Green Bay on May 26. He was initially booked on five counts, including felony strangulation/suffocation and misdemeanor charges of battery, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct and intimidation.

On Sept. 10, Josh Jacobs appeared before Judge Marc Hammer in Brown County Circuit Court and reached a plea agreement.

Jacobs pleaded no contest to misdemeanor battery and criminal damage to property. He was fined $1,000 plus court costs for the battery charge.

For the criminal damage charge, Jacobs received a one-year deferred judgment agreement. The charge will be dismissed if he completes the conditions of the agreement, which include counseling, having no contact with the victim, remaining under supervision and paying restitution.

Josh Jacobs is currently a running back for the Green Bay Packers. He signed a four-year, $48 million contract with the team in March 2024.

Before joining Green Bay, Jacobs spent the first five seasons of his NFL career with the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders from 2019 through 2023.

Josh Jacobs has generally kept his personal relationships private. However, in early 2026, he was linked to model Ash Kaashh, whose real name is Ashley Adams.
