The remake of Rayman Legends that has been rumoured for some time now has seemingly been leaked as Rayman Legends Retold, with a reliable source claiming that it’s launching later this year.
Over the past year or so, Rayman has finally started to emerge from a decade-plus hibernation, which started after the masterpiece that was 2013’s Rayman Legends. Not only did we get the Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition earlier this year, but it’s been suggested for some time now that Legends is also getting revisited as part of the attempt to bring our boy back.
Since most would argue that Rayman Legends hardly needs revisiting since it was so timeless when it launched, many thought that the reports might be a mistake. It seems that isn’t the case, though, as the remake’s logo has leaked ahead of its planned reveal and has been suggested to be legitimate by one of the original sources reporting its existence.
Rayman Legends Retold Logo Leaks, And It’s Apparently A “Reimagining”
We Can Likely Expect To Hear More At Next Week’s State Of Play
Over on Twitter, intercelluar randomly decided to drop an image of the Rayman Legends remake’s logo, which suggests the game is going to be called Rayman Legends Retold. They said that they’ve also got a “bunch more screenshots, skins, and concept art” but won’t be sharing it since an announcement is apparently “near”.

Just imagine it
Shortly after the logo was leaked, Insider Gaming posted an article backing it up and claiming that it’s legitimate, which is notable considering the site’s editor-in-chief, Tom Henderson, was one of the first people to report its existence. Insider Gaming describes it as a “reimagining” of the original game and that an announcement is expected “in the next week”.
Insider Gaming also claims that the remake is coming on October 1, which suggests it’s been in the works for some time. Right now, it’s not clear what the remake will entail, but it’s hopefully more than just a shine up considering how great the original Legends still looks to this day.
