The Los Angeles Chargers suffered their fourth straight loss of the 2026 season when they fell 23-30 on the road against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Now, in the wake of that disastrous start, one of their former players is questioning a certain strategy from that game.
Second-year running back Omarion Hampton finished with just nine carries for 45 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Keaton Mitchell came close to matching his output from the bench, rushing 10 times for 39 yards.
Thanks for the submission!
And during the game, defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko, who started his NFL career with the Chargers, suspected something with this division of duties by offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel:
•
“If you don’t believe in politics in the NFL just watch Mike McDaniel. Every good play Hampton has he subs him out to put Keaton Mitchell in. When a coach has an agenda of who he wants to look good he’ll make it happen by any means even if it sacrifices team success.”

In the air, Justin Herbert was once again subpar, completing 19 passes for 189 yards and a touchdown to Kimani Vidal against two interceptions. He also rushed six times for 40 yards.
The Seahawks, meanwhile, were bannered by Sam Darnold, who went 13-of-22 for 168 yards and two touchdowns against an interception. One of those scores went to Emanuel Wilson, who also rushed once for six points.
