Danil “donk” Kryshkovets’s thirteenth MVP was not his usual canter to the medal, but we cannot let voter fatigue affect just how strong this event was for the 19-year-old.

He ended the group stage on a 1.62 rating, with big peaks against FURIA and G2, before entering the stage with 118 ADR in the 11-1 first half of Nuke against Falcons and a momentum-destroying 2.32-rated Ancient against MOUZ.

Overall, he posted 0.91 KPR, 1.25 KPRW, and ended 52.4% of rounds with a positive round swing.

It was more of a team effort than usual, but Spirit would not be Spirit without this outrageous output from their young star.

Russia Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov

This was as close as sh1ro has got to an MVP, the other narrow miss coming at the first edition of BLAST Bounty in 2025.

He was the best player in playoffs (1.31 rating), and just pipped donk against top ten teams (1.30 to 1.27).

His three best maps all came in the arena, Nuke against Falcons before he shone across the first two maps of the grand final against MOUZ. It’s a shame for him that Spirit could not convert Mirage, where sh1ro’s brilliance got them into an 11-4 lead, but he still garnered plenty of credit for putting his team into that position.

Unfortunately, a huge gap in round wins (sh1ro’s 0.96 KPRW was closer to Boris “magixx” Vorobiev’s 0.68 than donk’s 1.25) and lower peaks (sh1ro had no maps above 1.60) kept the medal with donk but sh1ro’s fifth EVP of the year is his strongest yet.

Hungary Adrian “xelex” Vincze

xelex was right up there before the final as a leading MVP candidate, averaging a 1.41 rating in MOUZ’s map wins en route to Sunday’s match.

He had seven standout maps, starting with a player of the map against 9z on Nuke and adding peaks against Falcons, Vitality, and Spirit.

With a 1.12 rating, he was his team’s best against those three teams as MOUZ navigated past some tough opposition to make the final.

A former first-place prospect, xelex’s adaptation to tier one has not been instant but it has been steady, and this is his best event so far.

Russia Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov

Outside of two poor maps against MOUZ, there’s not much you can fault m0NESY for in his Porto performance.

He posted nine maps above the 1.30 mark, and six above 1.55 to help his team into the semi-finals. With +4.21% swing and 1.12 KPRW, the underlying statistics behind his 1.35 rating also tick their boxes.

His event may be best remembered by his near-1v5 clutch against Spirit, in a map where he did all he could to drag his team past the best in the world but did not do quite enough.

France Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut

ZywOo had a very similar event to m0NESY, both posting near-identical scores in map wins (1.48 ZywOo, 1.45 m0NESY), KPRW (1.12-1.12), and rating against top 10 teams (1.25-1.26).

The Frenchman slots in just below because of his floor collapsing against Inner Circle in the opener, but it’s still a solid EVP after eight standout maps in Vitality’s lower-bracket run to semis.

The 1.72 rating against FURIA on Cache was the highlight, but he was also brilliant against 9z (1.85 series rating) and in the 16-14 comeback win over Legacy on Nuke.

Belarus Andrey “tN1R” Tatarinovich

tN1R may only have a 1.05 rating in 2026 but this is his third EVP as he proved his win condition credentials once again.

His finest moment was the final map of the event, as he dominated Nuke’s A site against MOUZ with a 1.96-rated first half that all but secured the trophy.

But he was also great against Falcons (1.36 map one), FURIA (1.66 map two), and G2 (1.69 map one) to be able to convert that grand final peak into an EVP-worthy showing,

Israel Lotan “Spinx” Giladi

Spinx may be a good few players below xelex in the list of players but the gap between the two is fairly small, both having a huge role in getting MOUZ into the final.

The team’s lurker had a 1.46 rating in map wins, and was the best player on the server as MOUZ sent Vitality home in the semi-finals.

In groups, he had two huge peaks when he exceeded the 2.00 rating mark against 9z and Inner Circle, which meant his EVP was assured by the time he left the semi-final.

He struggled in the final, failing to repeat his BLAST Bounty heroics, but after a quiet start to the year there is no doubt that the four-time top 20 player of the year has found his form.

The best players of BLAST Open Porto 2026, in order:

  1. Russia Danil “donk” Kryshkovets

  2. Russia Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov

  3. Hungary Adrian “xelex” Vincze

  4. Russia Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov

  5. France Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut

  6. Belarus Andrey “tN1R” Tatarinovich

  7. Israel Lotan “Spinx” Giladi

Honorable mentions

Myroslav “zont1x” Plakhotia had his best event for a while with a 1.14 rating in playoffs and three standout maps.

Dorian “xertioN” Berman was great in groups, but like teammates Oldřich “PR” Nový and Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás he faded in playoffs.

Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato’s 1.20 rating is great on paper but it falls to 1.00 against top 30 opponents which left him short of an EVP.

Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko was great in groups but struggled badly on stage with a 0.59-rated quarter-final.

Of the players that didn’t make the arena, Dmytro “dem0n” Myroshnychenko, Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer, and Lizhi “Starry” Ye received the most credit.

All-Star

With a 59% T side win-rate, magixx is the first name on the all-star team sheet as our in-game leader and is joined by co-MVPs sh1ro and donk.

That means there is no room for tN1R or zont1x, as we already have three Spirit players.

For closer, Spinx is next in line and far ahead of the likes of dem0n to take his spot as the team’s lurker.

Then, for anchor, HeavyGod’s brilliant group stage was enough to keep him ahead of PR, René “TeSeS” Madsen, and Justinas “jL” Lekavicius.

Multi-award winners

donk remains two awards behind ZywOo but now is only one MVP short.
