Giannis Antetokounmpo’s trade to the Miami Heat could have been the first domino to fall in a hectic NBA offseason.

Antetokounmpo’s departure from the Milwaukee Bucks was just another example of top players dictating their futures.

And the Greek Freak is unlikely to be the only superstar traded to another team during the 2026 offseason.

NBA Analysis Network looks at three elite players who could follow in Antetokounmpo’s footsteps this summer.

Jaylen Brown (Boston Celtics)

The obvious answer is Jaylen Brown after the Boston Celtics included him in their trade offer for Antetokounmpo.

Even though he just had the best season of his career, averaging 29 points per game, the Celtics were willing to move on.

They probably want to keep him now that Antetokounmpo has gone to the Heat, but Brown must be frustrated with the situation.

The 29-year-old should have plenty of suitors from contending teams looking for a first or second offensive option.

Kawhi Leonard (Los Angeles Clippers)

Kawhi Leonard’s move to the Los Angeles Clippers from the 2019 title-winning Toronto Raptors has been underwhelming.

The 35-year-old has dealt with several injuries and playoff disappointments in his six seasons with the Clippers.

He is reportedly open to leaving the Intuit Dome this summer, with a return to Toronto on the cards.

Wouldn’t it be an incredible final chapter of Leonard’s career to see him contend for another championship with the Raptors?

Donovan Mitchell (Cleveland Cavaliers)

At 29 years old, Donovan Mitchell is a prime candidate to be traded from the Cleveland Cavaliers this summer.

Mitchell has been one of the NBA’s best scorers for many years and often raises his game in the postseason.

He led the Cavs to the Eastern Conference Finals this year, but he may feel like he needs to move elsewhere to win a title.

The Houston Rockets or San Antonio Spurs would be two intriguing options for Mitchell, who has two years left on his contract.
