Tommy Paul has been forced to withdraw from the Laver Cup because of an injury sustained at the US Open.
Paul made it to the round of 16 of his home Grand Slam in New York, where he was beaten by Carlos Alcaraz.
The American would have been eager to return to winning ways at the Laver Cup, which gets underway later this month.
But an elbow injury sustained at the US Open has forced him out of the team tournament, with his replacement now confirmed.

Francisco Cerundolo replaces injured Tommy Paul at Laver Cup
It will be Francisco Cerundolo who will replace Paul at the Laver Cup, which takes place in London from 25-27 September.
The Argentine, who also reached the last 16 at the US Open, will represent Team World at The O2 in London.
Currently ranked 25th in the world, Cerundolo knocked Taylor Fritz out of the US Open before falling to Alexander Blockx.
The 28-year-old is a five-time ATP champion, with two of those titles arriving this season at Buenos Aires and Queen’s.
Sharing his delight at making his fourth consecutive Laver Cup appearance, Cerundolo posted on X: “See you all there! Team World (with red heart and circle emojis).”

The rosters for both Team World and Team Europe are complete, and will be led by captains Andre Agassi and Yannick Noah respectively.
Agassi will have assistance from vice-captain Pat Rafter, while Tim Henman will serve as vice-captain to Noah.
Representing the visitors will be Fritz, Alex de Minaur, Ben Shelton, Alexander Bublik, Learner Tien and now Cerundolo.
And playing for the hosts are Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Flavio Cobolli, Rafael Jodar, Jakub Mensik and Casper Ruud.

Given the star-studded player list, the 2026 Laver Cup can certainly be expected to be a blockbuster tournament.
Team World enter the event as the defending champions, having beaten Team Europe 15-9 in San Francisco last year.
