Trick Williams explains NSFW WWE promo about his wife

Trick Williams opened up about an NSFW promo about his wife, WWE SmackDown star Lash Legend. Williams is the reigning United States Champion on the blue brand.

Lash Legend and Trick Williams appeared on Brandi Rhodes’ A Shot of Brandi this week, and a hilarious promo was brought up. Williams dropped an NSFW line about Legend’s backside, and Brandi Rhodes called it out. The United States Champion tried to suggest that he was talking about “whooping a**” during the promo.

“I said, ‘Ask the Legend herself. Anytime I want that a**, I get it.’ But I wasn’t saying, ‘That a**.’ I mean, anytime I want to whoop that a**, she knows I’m gonna whoop that a**. You know what I’m saying?” he said.

Lash Legend didn’t believe her husband and hilariously claimed he was lying.

Lil Yachty made his in-ring debut at Sunday Night’s Main Event earlier this month and lasted five minutes in the ring with Baron Corbin to earn Trick Williams a shot at the United States Championship. Williams defeated Corbin at WWE SNME to become the United States Champion for the second time. He previously captured the title by defeating Sami Zayn at WWE WrestleMania 42 but lost it to Corbin at SummerSlam 2026.

Lash Legend shares major admission about her relationship with WWE star Trick Williams

WWE SmackDown star Lash Legend admitted that Trick Williams was in the friend zone with her for a couple of years.

Speaking with Stephanie McMahon on the What’s Your Story? podcast, Legend shared that she didn’t want to date Williams right away because she had just joined the company. However, Legend noted that she figured out that the United States Champion was a good person during their time as friends.

“I was like, ‘I gotta stay away; I just got here, I’m trying to stay focused, and I’ve got my own thing going on outside work.’ So, I was like, no. But I got to know him as a person, truly, and in all of my romantic relationships, I’ve never gotten to be friends with somebody first. And so I really got to figure out his character, his morals, his value, his spirit, his soul, just really get to know him on a work level, and I was like, ‘Man, he’s really a good person,’ and I really liked that about him. Again, friendzone for like two years,” Legend said.

Only time will tell how long Trick Williams can hang onto the United States Championship moving forward on WWE SmackDown.
