California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) is one of the only major commissions that routinely releases athletes’ fight night weights (and purses).
As part of the commission’s efforts to discourage extreme weight cutting, fighters are weighed again on the day of the event and those numbers are released to the public. With UFC Sacramento officially in the books, CSAC released the fight night weights from this past weekend (Sat., Aug. 22, 2026) inside Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California.
And there were several interesting takeaways.
Rodrigues weighed 185 pounds on Friday before adding 19.4 pounds to reach 204.4 pounds on fight night. Hernandez, meanwhile, went from 186 pounds to 202.2 pounds, gaining 16.2 pounds overnight.
Perhaps the most eye-popping (and largest) weight gain came from Featherweight knockout artist, Marcio Barbosa, who scored a first round finish over Ryan Kuse (watch highlights).
Indeed, the Brazilian weighed 145.5 pounds on Friday, but packed on a staggering 25.5 pounds to enter the Octagon at 171 pounds, putting him squarely in Welterweight territory. Kuse only weighed 153.2 pounds on fight night, meaning Barbosa held a massive 17.8-pound advantage.
