Venus Williams and Alexandra Eala played doubles together at the Bad Homburg Open.
Williams and Eala played alongside each other for the first time in Bad Homburg, after receiving a wildcard for the WTA 500 tournament.
They had mixed success as a pairing, with Williams and Eala winning their first-round match, before being knocked out in the quarter-finals.
Eala will not be playing alongside the former world number one at Wimbledon, and now Williams has revealed if she would like to reunite this partnership in the future.

Venus Williams says she hopes to play with Alexandra Eala again
Venus Williams will be playing doubles with Serena at Wimbledon this year, with the 46-year-old making her 25th appearance at the grass court major.
Ahead of her first appearance at Wimbledon since 2023, Venus was asked about Eala in her pre-tournament press conference.
Venus was full of praise for Eala and revealed her hope for them to play doubles together in the future.
“She’s great,” Venus said about Eala. “Her parents are great, I got to meet them too and overall they seem to be very nice humans which helps you to be a better tennis player I think usually.
“She is very competitive on the court, I think we were a great team, I think we just needed a little more time together. We never even got a chance to practice together before we did the doubles, so I hope we get the chance to team back up together, I think we will be able to do it hopefully.”

Could Venus Williams and Alexandra Eala play against each other at Wimbledon?
As Venus reunites with her younger sister Serena, Eala will play doubles with Nikola Bartunkova at Wimbledon this year.
However, as they are in opposite halves of the draw, Eala and Venus would only be able to face each other if they both reached the Wimbledon doubles final.
Eala and Venus have actually played against each other before, which came at the WTA tournament in Auckland earlier this year.
What do you think of Serena Williams’ Wimbledon draw? 👀
Alongside Iva Jovic, Eala was able to beat the team of Venus Williams and Elina Svitolina 7-6(7), 6-1.
Although it looks unlikely for them to play against each other at Wimbledon, Eala has a big chance to play Serena Williams in the singles tournament.
