Fight fans who searched social media for highlight videos on Friday night (Sept. 25, 2026) witnessed one of the best knockouts of the year.
The moment came at regional MMA event FAC 36 in Independence, Missouri, which on paper didn’t offer much of anything to really get the juices flowing. However, buried deep on the undercard was a matchup between heavyweight prospects Josh Davis and Jacob Turner. It’s a fight nobody knew they needed to see until the final moments played out in real-time.
It took Davis just eight seconds to bum rush Turner and force him to flail his arms around in defense. Turner kept trying to backpedal to get away from Davis’ punches, but Davis wouldn’t be denied. A final right hand slammed into Turner and sent him flying into the cage like a cartoon character. That’s where he stayed out cold with his body slumped along the fence. In fact, Turner was still holding onto the cage with two hands. It was pretty gnarly.

We’ve seen some wild finishes in MMA this year, but whenever a fighter looks like he’s turned into an inflatable tube man it makes things that much worse. This may be an insignificant fight on the regional scene, but it was still one hell of a knockout sequence.
