GTA Online The Kortz Center Heist update is now ready for pre-load on certain platforms. The update will drop on July 14, 2026, which is tomorrow. Rockstar Games is finally bringing a brand-new heist to the game after more than five years, with the last one being the Cayo Perico Heist.

When and how to pre-load GTA Online The Kortz Center Heist update
GTA Online The Kortz Center Heist is currently available for pre-load on PS5 and XBOX Series X|S only. As of now, there is no news or pre-load option for PC, XBOX One, and PS4.
The update size on PS5 is 1.9 GB, while the size on XBOX Series X|S is 5.11 GB. Since The Kortz Center Heist could be one of the last DLCs for the game, it is the smallest update in terms of size in recent times. For example, The Money Fronts DLC was 3 GB, Agents of Sabotage DLC was 6 GB, and Bottom Dollar Bounties was 5.6 GB on PS5.
Pre-loading is basically downloading the update, but its features remain locked until a specific time. Hence, you can download the update, but its features will not be applied to the game until July 14, 2026, around 5:00 AM ET.
According to RockstarIntel, PC, XBOX One, and PS4 players will not be able to pre-load the game and will only be able to download it after the update drops on Tuesday. However, it is advised to keep checking the Rockstar Games launcher, Steam, and other store apps to see if the update lands before the release date and time.

GTA Online The Kortz Center Heist was announced on June 18, 2026, with the introduction of the Fine Arts Collector Program to further attract the player base. The program allowed players to earn cash and other kinds of in-game rewards for logging in or doing any previous heist.
Later, Rockstar Games fully revealed the heist on July 9, 2026, explaining that players will need to purchase a Mansion and an Art Studio in it to start the heist. The aim will be to scout for artworks, create fake ones in the Art Studio, and finally steal the original from the Kortz Center and replace it with the fake.
Many players were speculating that Mr. Faber would be the final villain in the Mansion’s storyline, but in GTA Online, The Kortz Center Heist, our in-game characters have to work with him.
