Jack Draper’s 2026 campaign has been plagued by injury.
The former world number three finally recovered from a long-term arm injury in February, making his first competitive appearance for six months in the Davis Cup.
Two months later, Draper suffered a knee injury that would keep him from competing until the Eastbourne Open in late June.
Draper was scheduled to compete at Wimbledon, but suffered a recurrence of his troublesome arm injury.

The Briton has since withdrawn from the Washington Open due to a left arm injury, despite telling reporters it was the best he had felt mentally and physically in a ‘very long time’ in the days prior to the ATP 500 event.

The Brownsburg Challenger, otherwise known as the Indiana Hardcourt Championships, is set to take place from August 10 to 16.
Jack Draper remains on the entry list for the event, as per the tournament website.
Draper is set to be seeded fifth for the event, behind only Nicolas Mejia, Gustavo Heide, Cristian Garin, and Nishesh Basavareddy.
The Brownsburg Challenger is an ATP Challenger 75 event, meaning the champion will receive 75 ATP ranking points.
By competing in Indiana, Draper has effectively quashed any suggestions of late entries into Masters 1000 events in Montreal or Cincinnati.

- Withdrew from Wimbledon on the eve of the event, citing a recurrence of his left arm injury.
- Scheduled to play in Washington but eventually withdrew due to a left arm injury.
The Canadian Open is scheduled for August 2 to 13 and the Cincinnati Masters event is set to take place from August 13 to 23.
Draper is far from the only British player competing in Indiana.

“These last months have felt like nothing but adversity and setbacks,” Draper admitted in a post on Instagram. “Most days I’ve spent in doubt, yet hopeful that I can keep taking positive steps forward and finding ways to progress.
“On days off, I reflect, and I’m only grateful for the struggle and what it’s teaching me.
“Finding acceptance and being patient with the process has been my biggest challenge, but I know I’m getting closer to where I want to be!
“Very lucky to have such amazing people to help guide me through this storm, and so with that… we keep persevering. Thank you for all the support and love.”
