The Frozen Trail expansion for Arc Raiders has officially dropped, and it’s introducing a bunch of content. Along with new ARC enemies, weapons, loot, and an Outpost to build, the big addition is the Pendola Pass map. This comes with a bunch of new quests you’ll need to complete in this snowy mountain range.
One of the first is Clean Hands, which is given out by the Nomadic Envoys trader. If you’re struggling to find the Nomad Camp or just want to know what to expect before heading out, here’s a full walkthrough of this quest.
Where To Find The Nomad Camp Under The Railyard
Your first task for this quest is to locate the Nomad Camp under the Railyard point of interest. Located in the middle of the map, the Railyard is a massive location that’s made up of a large station, multiple buildings, and, of course, trains you can run through. This place is a hotspot for player activity, so expect to run into a few other Raiders during your journey.
The Nomad Camp itself is located in the southwestern corner of this area. Specifically, you will want to look for some large drainage pipes that you can run into. Inside, where the pipes connect, you will find the Nomad Camp on the slightly elevated catwalks. This area can also be accessed via going through the depot on the ground floor.
There aren’t actually a ton of ARCs in the interiors of Railyard, so expect to just run into your usual fodder of Ticks and Fireballs.
Where To Find The Polluted Item
In the Nomad Camp, look for a cross-section where the catwalks meet. There will be two large crates with blue tarps pulled over them and a yellow duffle bag next to a warped barrel. Approach the bag and inspect it to obtain the Equatorial Sundial. Similar to other quest items, you will need one spot in your inventory or safe pocket to carry this object.
Bring The Equatorial Sundial To The Church In Old Town
Now that you have the quest item, you need to bring it to Old Town. This is another location on the new map that can be found on the far west side, just south of the Fallen Emperor. Similar to the Village in The Blue Gate, this area is made up of multiple buildings and is heavily patrolled by flying ARC enemies.
Your goal is to bring the Equatorial Sundial to the church’s tower, which is located in the center of town. Conveniently, it’s the tallest structure in Old Town, so you can easily spot it a mile off. When you arrive, go inside the church and look for a spiral staircase that leads to a zipline. Take the zipline up to the top of the tower and approach the indicated railing.
Just interact with the railing to hold out the sundial so it can gather the relevant data. Keep in mind, you will be completely exposed while doing this, so make sure there are no ARC or hostile players around.
The last step of this quest tasks you with extracting while the sundial is in your inventory. Extracting on Pendola Pass works a little differently than other maps, as you will need to first call in a gondola. This is done by going to one of the ramshackle radio beacon that has a large antenna and interacting with it. On your map, these will be marked by a white square with an arrow pointing downwards in the middle.
Once you interact with the beacon, you’ll need to wait until it turns green and then look for what direction the light is pointing. This will lead you to the actual gondola, which will typically only be a few meters away. It’s a massive orange tube that only has room for three Raiders at a time. Interact with any of the pods on the side to climb in and leave. Similar to working the extraction terminal, prying open a pod takes a few seconds, so you’ll be vulnerable during this!
Upon successfully extracting, go to the Traders tab and speak with the Nomadic Envoy to complete this quest and get your reward.
