The 2026 Wimbledon Championships will commence on Monday, June 29th.

Defending champions at the All England Club are Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek, both of whom became the first from their country in the Open Era to hoist a singles title in SW19 last year.

On the women’s side, 44-year-old Serena Williams will make her highly anticipated return to singles action, after receiving a wildcard for the event she has won seven times.

How far will Serena Williams go in Wimbledon singles?

Meanwhile, in the men’s draw, several stars will be looking to capitalise on Carlos Alcaraz’s withdrawal, with the likes of Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev and Taylor Fritz aiming to deny heavy favourite Sinner.

This year’s edition of Wimbledon boasts a star-studded lineup, and now the order of play on day one of the Championships has been revealed.

Centre Court action on day one will begin with Sinner kicking off his title defence against Miomir Kecmanovic.

Then, women’s world number one Aryna Sabalenka will continue her quest for a maiden Wimbledon crown against Teodora Kostovic.

Djokovic, in pursuit of equalling Roger Federer’s record of eight Wimbledon titles, will be last on Centre Court, with the Serb taking on Wu Yibing.

Many had expected Emma Raducanu to be on Centre Court, but the British number one will begin her campaign on Court 1, as she faces Antonia Ruzic.

Raducanu’s opener on the second biggest court at Wimbledon will be followed by the battle of the former US Open champions: Marin Cilic versus Daniil Medvedev.

Roland Garros champion Mirra Andreeva headlines Court 1, with the teenager set to do battle with Magda Linette.
