The penultimate day of 1win Private Club Season 2 has finished with just three teams remaining in the running for the trophy.
The day began with fnatic and magic being eliminated from the event and suffering costly losses in both of the teams’ Major bids.
fnatic were bested by PRIVATE, which has decreased their chances of qualifying to 17%, while magic are down to 13% after their loss to The MongolZ.
Elsewhere in the bracket, PARIVISION qualified for the final by beating BIG in what could have been a huge VRS-point haul for Benjamin “blameF” Bremer and company, and The MongolZ stayed alive after a dominant 2-0 over PRIVATE.
Wednesday’s results mean that BIG will face The MongolZ in the lower bracket final, where the international squad could raise their Major chances to 40%, with the winner then set to face PARIVISION in the best-of-five final.
