Atletico Madrid have launched a series of attacks on social media mocking Barcelona. They are not happy with the recent rumours about Julian Alvarez and have posted fake transfer offers for Lamine Yamal, Pedri, and Raphinha.

Taking to social media today, Atletico Madrid posted that they had sent a fax to the Catalan side with a bid for Yamal. They joked that the bid was four tickets to the next Bad Bunny concert, a subscription to ABC and a bag of sunflower seeds.

“HERE WE GO! We have sent a fax to @FCBarcelona_es with our transfer offer: 4 tickets for tomorrow’s Bad Bunny concert, an annual subscription to ABC, and a bag of sunflower seeds. We eagerly await the response to prepare the ‘announce’.”

They followed it up with another post about their bid for Pedri, adding that they had run out of tickets for the concert on Saturday, so they were offering six tickets for the Sunday edition.

“HERE WE GO! For this second offer we’ve had a problem, we’ve run out of tickets for tomorrow’s concert, so we improve the previous proposal with 6 for the one on Sunday.”

Raphinha was the subject of the third bid from Atletico Madrid, which was to loan him in for the season. They joked that the offer was Tom Ford and Smith in exchange and said:

“HERE WE GO! And to complete the 3×1, we’ve gotten all carried away and we’re going to throw the little house out the window: the player arrives on loan for a season and in exchange we loan out Tom Ford and Smith with no option to buy. An offer impossible to refuse.”

The Spanish side are furious after reports linked Julian Alvarez with a move to Camp Nou this week. Fabrizio Romano was also the subject of mocking as all posts started with his ‘Here We Go’.

Will Julian Alvarez leave Atletico Madrid for Barcelona?

Atletico Madrid have repeatedly insisted that Julian Alvarez will not be sold to Barcelona. They posted a statement via Mundo Deportivo earlier this week, saying that the Catalan side were behaving like a ‘small club’ and said:

“He is not for sale. The club has not received any offers for the player, nor have any meetings taken place. Fed up with months and months of lies, half-truths, and fabricated stories like house purchases in Barcelona or absurd questions posed to our players. Barcelona is behaving like a small team in this whole Julián affair.”

Apart from the Catalan side, Alvarez has been linked with a move to PSG.
