How To Max Out Xanthe’s Anger In The Blood Of Dawnwalker

Xanthe is the most peculiar of the three members of Brencis’ court in The Blood of Dawnwalker. Unlike Ambrus and Bakir, she’s not quite as loyal to Brencis as she seems and merely sees him as a convenient tool to achieve her own goals.

You can actually find Xanthe in Svartrau City’s Cathedral on any given night, where you can defeat her without doing any of her activities, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Xanthe’s boss quest is one of the most interesting in the game, and even has the potential for a unique outcome, but only if you go through the effort of angering her first.

All Activities To Raise Xanthe’s Anger

As mentioned, if you don’t plan to defeat Xanthe and be done with it, you’ll need to complete enough of the following tasks to max out her anger meter. They can be done in any order, and you don’t need to do all of them to max out the meter.

You should try to be around level 30 before you finish Xanthe’s quest and begin her boss fight. She’s the most difficult of the three in both quests and the boss fight, and even if you plan to spare her, you will still have to fight her first.

Blood Guard Recruiters

For this activity, Coen will need to defeat the Blood Guards. He can also choose to destroy the stash or take it, and I’d recommend the latter as it will unlock new skills on the skill tree and raise your corruption level.

Ancient Digsites

For this activity, you will need to investigate the dig sites and defeat all the guards present. When they’re dead, collect the research notes.

Abducted Girls

This is a transport activity, so you’ll need to search the area as the group will be moving. All you need to do here is defeat the guards and free the girls, one of whom isn’t exactly grateful.

This is yet another transport activity, so search along the path until you find the group and then get rid of the guards.

Cathedral Ritual

If you head to the Cathedral, you’ll find that Xanthe has done something terrible to someone who works there. This will likely come up while completing the A Monk and A Saint quest, if you do it during the day, as the Deacon will lead you there. However, you can come here at any point during the day and do this quest on your own.
