Control Resonant: What Time Does The Game Release

Control Resonant is already shaping up to be one of the most exciting games of the year if its positive early reviews are anything to go by, even managing to outshine its critically acclaimed predecessor. Offering a more ambitious scope with an RPG-style adventure in its nightmarishly twisted landscapes, Control Resonant promises to offer a mind-bending adventure as you battle otherworldly entities and paranormal aberrations.

With Control Resonant now less than a week away from release and even more gameplay clips circulating online, one of the biggest questions left is when you’ll actually be able to get your hands on the game and play it for yourself.

Control Resonant Global Release Times

Unlike games such as the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6, the developers at ControlRemedy on X have announced that the upcoming RPG will be a simultaneous global release at 3:00 PM UTC on September 24 for anyone who purchases a digital copy of Control Resonant.

There also won’t be a time difference between the PC, Xbox Series S|X, and PlayStation 5 releases for the game either, meaning you’ll be able to access and play Control Resonant at the same time as everyone else at the following times:

Physical Copies Won’t Be Available At Launch

Although Control Resonant has received glowing reviews even by us here at TheGamer, you might not be happy to hear that the physical editions of Control’s sequel won’t be releasing at the same time as its digital versions. Noting some technical difficulties causing the delay, all physical copies of Control Resonant won’t be available until October 15.

Even with the delay, both editions are still up for pre-order right now, which will net you the Hiss Corruption Outfit and Pickpocket’s Tool Artifact for Dylan. Control Resonant also has a digital deluxe edition, which comes with the following rewards in exchange for a $10 price jump from the base game:
