BC.Game bench electroNic; sources indicate asap as replacement

Denis “⁠electroNic⁠” Sharipov has been placed on BC.Game’s bench, the organization has announced.

Sources have further indicated that the team is close to unveiling THUNDER dOWNUNDER’s Tyson “⁠asap⁠” Paterson as the Russian’s replacement.

When asked about the move, the organization’s CEO, Ali Muhanned, did not confirm the new player but said the decision was made with the upcoming PGL Singapore Major invitation deadline in early November in mind.

“electroNic has been one of the most important people in the team off and on the server,” the CEO told HLTV. “He has been the positive guy actually, and I would say people should not trust social media or clips. He is funny and the guy that jokes around with his teammates and that also keep the guys in good vibes when needed.

“But as the CEO I must take difficult decisions, and this is a major decision that needs to be done for the project,” he said. “It has nothing to do with electroNic. If we had more time for the Major, I would have actually given him more time just because the team is new.”

With the addition of asap, BC.Game would greatly improve their chances at qualifying for Singapore by forming a core that classifies as Asian instead of European.

In Europe, their chances would be low, as BC.Game currently sit in 36th place on the VRS with spots on offer to the top 18. Their 1,191 points would however currently put them in fourth place on the Asian VRS, from which five teams will receive invites to Singapore.

Just over six weeks remain before the Major deadline hits, in which time BC.Game will look to improve their chances further at smaller LANs such as ROG Journey Autumn, Stake Pulse Beat III and DraculaN Season 7, for which they have either signed up or qualified.

With asap’s addition, BC.Game’s lineup would look as follows:
