A new Lego Pokemon set is on the horizon, this time featuring everyone’s favorite Dragon/Flying Legendary, Rayquaza – and it comes with the first official Pokemon minifigure.
Ever since Lego and Pokemon started collaborating, we’ve had tons of exciting sets appear from Pikachu, Eevee, and the final evolution of the first-ever starters in an epic statue. We’ve also had a few… questionable sets in the Smart Brick collection, featuring an extremely cursed Pikachu tree and a Jigglypuff that looks like it’s seen things no one should know about.
Well, fear not, for a brand new Pokemon set is on the way, this time bringing someone from Gen III in the iconic Rayquaza, and the collaboration’s first-ever official minifigure.
Rayquaza next Pokemon to get an official Lego Set
As revealed by reliable leaker, BrickTap News, we’ll reportedly be getting a brand new Rayquaza set complete with a Zinnia minifigure holding a printed Mega Stone, and a Sky Pillar with clouds acting as the display stand.
According to the leaker, it’ll cost $130, have 1,083 pieces, and will release on August 1, 2026, so fans won’t have long to wait.
Currently, there’s no leak regarding what the set will actually look like but given the brick size and the Sky Pillar base that will reportedly use a “large amount of the pieces,” it’ll likely be a statue design, similar to the currently available starter set.
This set will also be coming with the very first official Pokemon minifigure in Zinnia, the lorekeeper for the Dracanoid people, and the trainer we see in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. This could mean more minifigures of iconic trainers are on the way in upcoming sets.
Lego hasn’t revealed the set officially yet, so the price, brick size, and release date are subject to change.
