“Never Spoke About It Again”

Chelsea Green has revealed a broken promise by WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H. The 35-year-old captured the Interim WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam in the absence of Rhea Ripley.

She beat four other women in the ladder match to shock the fans. Since then, she has received a lot of love and support from the wrestling community.

Her win was special given that she has kept her fun-loving character on screen. However, in an interview on Complex Graps, the Hot Mess revealed that she had discussions with Triple H last year to change her comedic character to a more serious one.

She said despite this, she was put into a comedy spot the very next week.

“About a year ago, I had a conversation with Hunter. We sat down, and we talked about me going in a more serious direction. Literally the next week, I was put in a comedy spot that lasted like 30 seconds, and I was pinned. I’m like, ‘Well, I fear we’re here to stay,”‘ she said.

Chelsea Green said that since then she and Triple H have never revisited the conversation.

“And we never, him and I, never spoke about it again. It’s such a funny conversation to think about because we were like, ‘Yeah, I’ll stop doing this, and I’ll stop doing that, and I’ll look more serious, and I’ll be more serious, and I’ll do my moves.’ And then I literally believe I went and took the Jaded,” she said.
