Even if there are not many starters in action, fans around the league are still locked in on their favorite teams.
New York Giants fan Jeffrey C. is a prime example, who had a lot to say on the Giants-Jets discussion page:
“Really sloppy play tonight by both teams. Clearly a lot of players who won’t be playing football this year.
Tyrone Tracy looked good before he got hurt. Hope he’s ok.
Mixed bag from Odell Beckham Jr. Should have caught the ball he extended to get – hit him on the hands. Jameis Winston’s interception was him throwing the ball in the right place and Odell slipping. But think he did enough to make the team.
Braxton Berrios is a good returner. Not sure we want him running routes. Najee Harris is going to get a lot of carries this year – regardless of Tracy’s health.
Would like to see Dominic Zvada kick a long one – but he’s looking good. I realize backups are playing but the defensive line struggles with the run and with maintaining contain. This is the area I am most concerned about with this team.”
