PFL Washington D.C. takes place tonight at the CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C. In the main event, Thad Jean will lock horns with Ernesto Rodriguez for the vacant PFL welterweight strap.
Jean (11-0) was originally going to take on top contender and No. 8 P4P star Shamil Musaev. However, the Russian fighter withdrew from the bout at the 11th hour due to weight cut complications, after which Rodriguez (11-1) stepped in as a last-minute replacement.
The PFL Washington D.C. co-main event features a light-heavyweight showdown between Tyson Pedro (10-6) and Rafael Xavier (14-9).
