Pavle “Maden” Bošković recently hopped on Teodor “tedd” Borisov’s interview series, Tedd Talk, to chat about his career as a whole, covering a range of topics from his origins in CS to his recent stint with fnatic.
With regards to his ill-fated time in fnatic, Maden put the lack of success down to a certain degree of incompatibility between him and the team.
“To be honest, I feel like I couldn’t play my game in the time in fnatic,” he said. “I was playing some different roles, some different positions than I am used to playing, and it was very hard for me to adapt to their playstyle and how they see the game.
“This was actually the first team where I felt like I couldn’t understand how to play, how to help the team considering my positions. I was also not playing the best individually, I have to admit.”
He went on to discuss his current status as IGL of illwill, mentioning that he feels he will be a good full-time IGL in the future.
“I think I actually can be a good IGL. I feel like I was getting a lot of input from Snappi and he was also telling me during my career ‘I think you could be a good IGL in future,’ and to be honest I agree with him.”
“Maybe I am not ready yet, maybe I need one or two years more as not an IGL, as a second voice, but I feel like somewhere in the future I can be an IGL.”
