Ninjas in Pyjamas General Manager Björn “THREAT” Pers has announced that he has parted ways with the Swedish organization.
The 38-year-old first joined the Ninjas in 2016, initially as head coach, and had three different spells with the organization across multiple roles.
“Earlier this year, I made the difficult decision to part ways with NIP,” THREAT wrote on X. “The main reason was that I didn’t want to be in a role where performance-related work wasn’t part of what I do. That’s something that matters a lot to me.
“As for what’s next, I’m still figuring that out, whether that’s within esports or beyond it.”
