Dillon Gabriel has been in the spotlight ahead of the Cleveland Browns’ roster cuts on Sunday. The quarterback has reportedly been competing for the QB3 spot on the Browns squad, behind Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders.
On Saturday, analyst Tony Grossi suggested that the Miami Dolphins, valued at $7.5 billion by Forbes, could land Gabriel via a trade.
Thanks for the submission!
“I listed Jacksonville as potential trade partner for Dillon Gabriel. Instead, they traded w Miami for Quinn Ewers. Now they need a back up to Malik Willis. AB, youre up,” Grossi tweeted on Saturday.

Dillon Gabriel had a strong finish to Browns’ 2026 preseason

Dillon Gabriel had a strong finish to the Browns’ 2026 preseason on Friday. He completed 12 of 15 passes for 186 yards and three touchdowns to lead Cleveland to a 37-13 win over the New England Patriots.
However, Gabriel struggled in the early phase of the preseason. He went five of eight for 23 yards with one interception against the Chicago Bears in Cleveland’s preseason opener.
Gabriel had only one pass attempt, which fell incomplete, during the Cleveland Browns’ 31-7 preseason loss to the Buffalo Bills in their Week 2 preseason game.
It remains to be seen if Gabriel will remain with the Browns for the 2026 season.
