Swiatek now boasts 40 6-0 sets in Tier1/WTA-1000 events, and is rapidly climbing the all-time list.

In fact, only legendary duo Martina Hingis (52) and Serena Williams (50) have more since 1990, as per OptaAce.

OptaAce also notes that the Pole nears the latter in another area since the WTA-1000 format’s introduction in 2009.

With 139 wins and 35 losses, Swiatek holds a winning percentage of 79.8%, which is bettered only by the 80.4% of American icon Williams.

Iga Swiatek needs one more bagel to complete stunning record

While chasing the bagel record won’t be at the forefront of her mind, it will give Swiatek great confidence knowing she has the capacity to constantly win by such a scoreline.

In fact, the six-time Grand Slam champion needs just one more career bagel to complete a truly remarkable set.

She has recorded a bagel at every Grand Slam, the WTA Finals, and every WTA 1000 tournament except Wuhan.

It’s a stunning list, and one that Swiatek could complete when the Wuhan Open returns to the WTA calendar in October.
